About the Journal

Aim:
The journal Developmental Psychology is a biannual open access academic publication of the School of Psychology and Human Relations of the Universidad Abierta Interamericana (UAI). Its main objective is to disseminate contributions in the field of Developmental Psychology, covering all stages of development, from infancy to old age. In addition, contributions from related disciplines, such as philosophy, anthropology and sociology, among others, are accepted.
Scope:
The journal "Psicología del Desarrollo" is characterized by its pluralistic and open approach, encouraging the exchange between different psychological perspectives and paying attention to close or adjuvant disciplines. It accepts various types of papers, including empirical and theoretical research, research reports, accounts of pedagogical experiences and extension interventions, interviews, book reviews and scientific events, as well as graduation papers from psychology students.
The journal welcomes contributions in Spanish, English and Portuguese, in order to encourage international participation and exchange. It has a prestigious permanent scientific committee composed of experts from different specialties at an international level, who guarantee the quality and rigor of the published contents.
The audience of Psicología del Desarrollo is made up of researchers, teachers, professionals and students from different careers related to the central themes of the journal. The journal is positioned as a reference space for those interested in the study of human development, providing open access to updated and relevant knowledge in the field.
